Where is Our Medicine?
I worked with my teacher Kung Chin Chin to complete this picture book《我們的藥在哪裡？》("Where is our medicine?"). I handled all the background drawing and colouring with her guidance. This book introduces Chinese medicine knowledge to kids by telling them a story of a little girl - Rainie.
Where is our medicine is a picture book that teaches children about Traditional Chinese Medicine. The story transplants Chinese Medicine out of a more historical context and puts it right into an environment that children can immediately understand, their home and family. The aim behind this was to teach children about a portion of their heritage without it seeming boring or "old". I enjoyed working on this project because it is fulfilling to help children to understand their heritage and how they can still see parts of this 2000 year old belief in their modern life.
